Just a quicky. A friend and I got out for one last run through Christopher Creek before it gets too chilly to visit. Christopher Creek is one of the nicest canyons around, with maybe the easiest approach and exit possible, beautiful canyon scenery, and easy and beautiful rappels with flowing water and solid anchors. At the upper end of the canyon, we ran into some SAR folks building a high line for a training exercise, and at the lower end we found a group of freezing teenagers cliff jumping. We also saw some rock climbers putting up new routes at the exit. But we had the technical portion of the canyon to ourselves. Christopher Creek is a true AZ classic.
